What started as an end of year school project has turned into a profitable business.
Two industrious Ocean Isle Beach young people were to come up with a business plan as a year end project for school. They decided upon a Lemonade stand. Using the knowledge gained during the school year, they wrote up a business plan and implemented it. In addition, they decided to give 20% of their profits to the Museum of Coastal Carolina's education program called Megabites.
LemonShark's Lemonade is located in front of Coastal Creations at the corner of Frink St. and Beach Drive heading toward Sunset Beach, about a mile from the traffic light in Ocean Isle. Hours are Noon—4 p.m. They offer 3 flavors: regular, pink and strawberry over shaved ice. They also offer sugar-free. Stop by and meet these budding entrepreneurs when you come to the beach.
