Two industrious Ocean Isle Beach young people were to come up with a business plan as a year end project for school. They decided upon a Lemonade stand. Using the knowledge gained during the school year, they wrote up a business plan and implemented it. In addition, they decided to give 20% of their profits to the Museum of Coastal Carolina's education program called Megabites.

Over the course of the summer, they made $956 from selling lemonade at their stand located in front of Coastal Creations at the corner of Frink St. and Beach Drive heading toward Sunset Beach, about a mile from the traffic light in Ocean Isle.

You heard about their endeavors in a previous blog on this website. The boys stated that the experience taught them "the value of a dollar" and to treat customers well. For their efforts, they won $1,000 favings bond and a Nintendo DS. They gave $192 to the Museum of Coastal Carolina.
